This online course is designed for anyone who wants to write fiction for children or teenagers. Whether it’s a picture book for the under-5s, an adventure for the 9-12 set, or an edgy contemporary YA novel, this course will help you develop ideas, characters, stories and viewpoints that will fit the age group and children’s/YA fiction generally. Each module includes exercises to be sent on for constructive feedback.
This is a 4-module course, conducted through an online classroom which also allows participants to share their work and thoughts with others on the course if they so choose. The classroom can be accessed at any day/time during the week.
